Critically acclaimed and Grammy Award winning producer Paul Epworth collaborated with Sony’s 360 Reality Audio to release his debut album ‘Voyager’ through the format, providing listeners an entirely new and immersive way to experience the new album. 360 Reality Audio is an immersive audio experience utilizing Sony’s spatial sound technologies, making it possible for artists and music creators to produce a music experience by mapping sound sources such as vocals, chorus and instruments with positional information and placing them within a spherical space. When listeners hear content produced in the 360 Reality Audio music format, they experience an immersion into sound that closely mimics the omni-directional soundscape of a live musical performance.

On hearing ‘Voyager’ in 360 Reality Audio for the first time, Paul explained it moved him tears and that he’d love to make all his records in the format.

The new album, released via Columbia Records, is available for listening now via 360 Reality Audio-supported streaming services: Amazon Music HD, Deezer and TIDAL.
