Swarmz

In-house photographer Joe Magowan was given the task of doing a set of press-shots for Black Butter artist Swarmz, ahead of his release Mojo Jojo. The brief was fairly open, and the label just asked for the shots to reflect the aesthetic of the music video for Mojo Jojo which used a lot of coloured lighting. Joe took this opportunity to experiment with some lighting set-ups he hadn’t tried before, lighting the background different colours and the subject with thin slivers of light.
