‘Take me out to the ball game’ has a very different meaning in America than perhaps in the UK, but linking with our Stateside cousins to promote major league baseball proved the perfect team sport for both of us. With a long history of local UK teams/leagues, this was about broadening the appeal for the sport and having two of its most famous rivals, the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees along for the ride.

 

Knowing where your strengths lie is crucial for any successful team at play, and as the official and exclusive music partner for this London Series, 4TH FLOOR CREATIVE called up Sony Music UK artists to provide the in-stadium soundtrack (live performances from CRAIG DAVID, TOM WALKER and THE KINGDOM CHOIR included, plus a DJ-set from RITON) for the two day takeover of Stratford’s London Stadium. The integrated music strategy made sure the reach outside the stadium went large, with a Ministry of Sound co-branded playlist, a Hit & Run video featuring LADY LESHURR and DENO and tapped into our proven influencer marketing programme for guaranteed reach and relevance across the weekend, whether you could make it to the ball game, or not.
