Music Week Awards 2021

Highlights

It was a fantastic night for 4th Floor Creative at the Music Week Awards – with two victories from an impressive five nominations.

Music & Brand Partnership went to Grammy Award winning artist Koffee’s partnership with H&M. Originally debuting in December 2020, the ‘Bring on the Future’ global campaign saw Koffee perform an original poem with themes of optimism and hope imbued in both her words and the visuals. Amid such uncertainty, Koffee’s poem provided a poignant perspective on what the future may hold. Now, as our lives return to normal, her words remain evergreen as we continue to welcome back gigs, festivals, and everything else that our industry has to offer. If you missed the campaign the first time around, then make sure to check it out here. Congratulations to Precious once again for her stellar work on delivering the Music & Brand Partnership of the year!

Our dynamic Sync Team were much deserving in their win of Sync Team of the Year! They are unwavering in their results – with TV wins on the likes of Love Island and Sex Education, to securing three tracks on O2 ads this year alone, to 15 tracks confirmed on FIFA 22! What a team!

4th Floor’s additional and well-deserved nominations included Live Music Innovation Of The Year for the incredible six-part, lockdown series ‘Back To Mine’, which saw presenter Vick Hope (Capital Breakfast) meet a multitude of the most exciting new music stars for an intimate and exclusive look inside their homes, along with stunning performances and conversations about their experiences during the first lockdown. The series was created by 4th Floor’s Production Team – from the initial ideation, to the talent sourcing and execution itself, before the show was subsequently picked up by Channel 4 for broadcast. Artists included Joy Crookes, Declan McKenna, Jake Bugg, EYK, Tom Grennan and Sam Fischer. To add to their incredible achievement, the unique, self-shot series required all content to be captured remotely due to the national lockdown restrictions – with the team having to master new techniques, as well as teach artists how to self-shoot from their own bedrooms.

We received a second nomination in the Music & Brand Partnership category for ASOS x Leigh-Anne, which saw the Little Mix star handpick her favourite ASOS designs in partnership with the online fashion retailer for a brand new style edit. Our final nomination was for Sync of The Year, the beautifully placed ‘Another Love’ from Tom Odell in Marie Curie’s emotive ‘On Hold’ ad.
