Mimi Webb
EP Artwork | Seven Shades of Heartbreak
Creative Direction
It’s been an incredible Summer for Mimi Webb, with her profile at an all-time high and an ever-increasing legion of devoted fans. In the last few weeks alone, the budding talent has released her anthemic single 24/5, performed an incredible set at Reading Festival, opened for Dermot Kennedy at Ally Pally and smashed her debut Radio 1 Live Lounge.
So it’s no surprise how much 4th Floor loved creating the artwork for the singer-songwriter sensation’s latest EP ‘Seven Shades of Heartbreak’ – delivered, once again, in truly collaborative 4th Floor fashion.
The concept for the EP artwork was inspired by the dramatic, cinematic EP title, where Mimi takes us through the rooms of a strange and beautiful house – each space representing a different shade of heartbreak. Mimi travels from despair to elation, a metaphorical journey from the pain of losing your love, to freedom and discovering happiness on your own terms. Each space captures the mood of a specific track on the EP – which is released through Epic Records on the 22nd October. The images for each room became artwork for the EP cover and packaging, as well as general press images and exclusive content across DSPs.
