Christmas Ad Round-up
Sync
The Sync Team have smashed it out of the park this year, placing Sony tracks in an incredible amount of Christmas ads, including what some declare the winner of the ‘Christmas ad war’! Buddy the elf is back in action for ASDA‘s festive campaign, which features Will Ferrell reprising his role as Buddy the Elf, soundtracked by the one and only Frank Sinatra‘s rendition of the Christmas classic ‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town’. The ultimate festive feels! Check it out here or at the bottom of this page!
From one global superstar to the next, Harry Styles has soundtracked this year’s M&S Christmas campaign ‘Gifts that give’, with his track ‘Treat People With Kindness’. This is an excellent example of great things coming out of 4th Floor collaboration, with the Brand Partnerships team leading on this incredible spot. Harry has also kindly chosen to donate the money from this campaign to Centrepoint, really living up to the spirit of the campaign.
Heavyweights ALDI haven’t missed a trick with their football themed ad, (it’s coming home!), and used the undeniable head bopper that is the JLX remix of the King Elvis Presley’s ‘A Little Less Conversation’.
Supermarket giant Tesco have got Europe’s ‘The Final Countdown’ soundtracking their tongue-in-cheek ad, and Boots have captured the feel-good nature of Christmas with Hall & Oates’ ‘You Make My Dreams (Come True)’.
Flannels are back supporting developing talent, and the multi-brand retailer have soundtracked their edgier Christmas ad with RCA’s rising star Biig Piig and her latest offering ‘Kerosene’.
Finally, Amazon Prime have snapped up what is arguably one of the songs of the year, with cult classic ‘Jiggle Jiggle’ from the legend that is Louis Theroux & Duke & Jones.
All in all, a pretty successful holiday season for the Sync Team!
